I love seeing your work at different venues in RI. I have lived in Maine for 8 years now, but come back monthly to visit “family.” I love seeing your work at different venues. We were at Iggy’s in Warwick when I came upon the first one, and I adored all the memories. Just thought I’d share one of mine with you.
When we were kids, it was a big treat to head out on a Friday or Saturday night, station wagon packed with kids and food and drinks, and pull up in front of the big screen at The Cranston Drive-In! Sometimes we would stop at Superior Bakery and get some fresh, hot Italian bread to bring along. We’d all go in pajama’s and brought lounge chairs and blankets. So many good times with friends! It’s hard to believe there ever was a drive-in there now, as the lot is full of stores and businesses. It is comforting to see that the bakery is still there and doing well. They make pretty good pizza strips too, but they don’t compare the pizza Frankie Galasso’s mom used to make! Thanks for putting so many memories to paper! Keep up the good work….please!

I love the great taste of Dell’s and I miss everything from Rhode Island because now I live in Florida. I always brag about the greatest food ever being from R.I.
It would look great hanging in my Florida Living room.
P.s. My greatest memory of R.I is working at stop and Shop with Frank and playing softball with him.

I have many memories of Rhode Island, but one of my favorites was going to Rocky Point every summer!!
I moved away form Rhode Island in 1989 and found out through friends what had happened to Rocky Point. I was sad when I heard it had closed and sat for years falling apart. :( I love the RI Lithograph!!!
My favorite sports night was to attend the Lonsdale Race Track off Mendon Road Friday nights.
Goddard park is a fav!

Hello.
I think one of my favorite memories, although many, would have to be of Rocky Point. What child growing up in RI doesn't have memories of visiting Rocky Point and all that it had to offer. You could spend your day in the park on the rides and playing games all day, and then walk over to grab yourself that famous chowder and clam cakes, all while taking in that beautiful ocean view. Gosh do we all miss those days. It was sad to see it go. Rhode Island has much to offer, but Rocky Point, I believe, is in the hearts of all that call Rhode Island home. = )

How do I pick just one? I've lived in RI for nine years now and I'm in love. Fun to see the big blue bug dressed up for Christmas, and I love taking pictures of the iron bridge in Roger Williams Park in autumn. And who can forget all the beautiful lighthouses. I just got to Block Island this past weekend for the first time and took pictures of two more!

Frank,
I have been top every one of the locations on your mapping.
Best,

My favorite Rhode Island memory is the day my father and I spent at Rocky Point.
I rode the Corkscrew for the first time, and we both went on the Freefall for the first time! It was a magical day!

Hi Frank,
Love your prints, especially of RI!!!
I have to say one of my favorite places is being on Block Island and at
the Southeast lighthouse!!!!!!!!
We are so lucky to have such a paradise in our little state...

Hi
Frankie, I was just on your website browsing your artwork. Still
love the Rocky Point poster the best! To this day I can
clearly hear the sound the doors made in the house of horrors as the
car you were riding in pushed thru it. That was my all time
favorite ride there. That and the music express. Can't tell you
how many times we got off the ride and got back in line to go
again! It's really sad Rhode Island lost such a great part of it's
history to poor managment. At least with your artwork we can look
back at the pics and remember the good ol' days! Keep up the great
work and see you at the Scituate Art Festival in Oct! Peace, how
I would display that awesome print in our home!! I left my
heart in Little Rhody

I grew up and was educated in the great State of Rhode
Island. I am a true New Englander! Our family are the
biggest New England Sports nuts in the state of Colorado. We
cheer for the New England Patriots –#12 Tom Brady .
Everytime the Pats come to Denver we proudly go to the game
dressed in full Patriot gear and yell & cheer. We love the
Sox, Bruins & Celtics. My sons bedroom is a shrine to all
the New England sport teams. At the end of October we are
making our annual trip to Rhode Island- I can hardly wait.
Just for the food alone- fried clams & Italian food Dels
lemonade & Coffee syrup and don’t forget Dunkin Donuts. We
can’t get any of those things here in Denver. I would love,
love, love to win that most wonderful Rhode Island
autographed print!!! It would be displayed and enjoyed by
all.
You did it again! You have a way
to bring out the feel good memories! Love it!!
